Cookie Policy

What this covers

This policy explains the cookies and browser storage Vayvio (https://getvayvio.com) actually uses. We keep this short because the honest answer is short: Vayvio runs on a small set of strictly necessary cookies plus one preference stored in your browser — and nothing for advertising.

Strictly necessary cookies

Vayvio sets authentication and security cookies when you sign in (session cookie, sign-in state, and login-security cookies). These keep you signed in and protect your session against cross-site request forgery. They are required for the platform to work and cannot be switched off; signing out removes the session cookies.

Preferences (browser storage, not cookies)

Your chosen light/dark theme is stored locally in your browser (localStorage) so Vayvio loads the way you left it. Clearing your browser storage resets it to the system default. No preferences are shared with anyone else.

Display-currency preference

If you change the display currency on the Pricing or Courses pages while signed out, Vayvio stores that choice in a small preference cookie so your preference is remembered. It contains only the selected currency code — it is a preference, not advertising or tracking, and it is removed when you select PHP.

Analytics and advertising

Vayvio does not use analytics, advertising, or cross-site tracking cookies. Usage analytics we rely on (for example, listing view counts you see on your own marketplace items) are computed from our own records, not from third-party trackers. Because there are no optional cookie categories, there is no cookie consent banner — nothing to switch on or off beyond the necessary cookies above.

Third-party services you may touch

Some flows hand you to a provider's own site, which may set its own cookies under its own policy: signing in with Google, completing payment on our payment provider's hosted checkout, and joining voice/video calls (call infrastructure providers). Vayvio does not control those cookies; check the provider's policy on its site.

Managing cookies

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking Vayvio's necessary cookies will sign you out and break signed-in features. See also the Privacy Policy.
