Trust & Safety

How Vayvio helps people work, hire, and learn with confidence.

How Vayvio builds trust

Trust comes from real identities, real work history, honest reviews, human moderation, and clear limits on what platform features mean. Nothing here is a guarantee — but every mechanism below is real and enforced in the product.

Identity verification — what it does and doesn't mean

Users can optionally verify their identity using a government-issued ID and a selfie/liveness check, run by an external identity verification provider. Successful checks earn the Identity Verified badge. It means the provider confirmed the person's identity through that process. It does not mean a background check, and it is not a promise that someone is trustworthy, safe, or competent — always use your own judgment. A separate Profile Reviewed badge only means our team reviewed the profile information. Badges can be revoked. Raw ID images and selfies stay with the verification provider — Vayvio stores only the result.

Safe marketplace practices

Listings are reviewed before publication, reviews come only from real completed work, and search ranking reflects genuine signals like verification — never paid placement disguised as merit. Boosts (clearly labeled paid promotion) only raise visibility, never fake trust.

Jobs & interviews

Before hiring, a client can open an interview channel with a shortlisted applicant. Interview channels are limited to the two participants and that one application, temporary and time-boxed, and separate from workspace chats. Interview calls must be scheduled and accepted by both sides — no surprise ringing from strangers. A workspace is created only when someone is actually hired.

Workspace privacy

Workspace content — tasks, messages, files, calls — is visible to its members and, in a limited review context, to authorized moderators handling a report. No one else, including other clients of the same VA. Private messages are never used for advertising.

Scheduling & attendance transparency

Attendance is optional and per working relationship. When enabled, it records clock in/out times and agreed schedules — nothing else. No screenshots, no app monitoring, no keystroke logging, no location tracking. Corrections are reviewed and every change is logged. Attendance records help with accountability; they are not automatically payroll records.

Reviews & reputation

Service reviews come only from clients with verified completed work; course reviews come only from learners who finished the course. Sellers and VAs can respond once but cannot delete reviews. We remove reviews that violate our guidelines.

Course safety

Sellers apply and are approved before they can sell; courses pass a Vayvio review before publication; buyers must complete a course before reviewing it; and anyone can report a course or its content, leading to possible re-review or takedown. Platform review means the course met our content standards — it is not professional accreditation, and a Certificate of Completion confirms course completion only.

AI safety

Vayvio AI can make mistakes — review important information before relying on it. AI features respect your account and workspace permissions (they cannot read other people's private data), never receive identity documents or payment details, and consequential AI actions always require your explicit confirmation before anything happens. You can turn AI off or restrict it any time.

Account security

Use a strong, unique password (or Google sign-in), keep your credentials private, and tell us right away if your account is compromised. Payout details are stored encrypted and visible only to authorized finance staff.

How to report a problem

Use the Report button on profiles, listings, jobs, messages, reviews, courses, and course content — or contact support@getvayvio.com. Reports are reviewed by our moderation team; reporters' identities are not shown to the reported person.

Appeals & support

Many moderation decisions can be appealed through the platform, and support is available through the in-app Support system. See also the Acceptable Use Policy and Community Guidelines.
